One person was killed and a second was injured in a wreck at the intersection of Lee Road.
Troopers said one man is dead and a woman injured after a two-vehicle collision on Edwards Road. The crash happened around 4:40 a.m. Saturday at the intersection Edwards Road at Lee Road. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the driver of a rollback had stopped at the intersection when the driver of Honda struck the right rear of the vehicle and then sideswiped a tree. The male driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said. He was not wearing a seat belt. Troopers said a female passenger of the Honda was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital for her injuries. Her condition is not known at this time. The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the crash at S.C. Highway 8 near West Georgia Road.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash Monday afternoon at Highway 8 near West Georgia Road. According to Troopers, the crash occurred at 4 p.m. Monday, when a 2012 International tractor-trailer was traveling west on West Georgia Road and was struck head-on by a 2008 Chevy, which traveled left of center. The driver of the Chevy, identified as 37-year-old Brent Waddell, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Fox Carolina.

UPDATE - 4:38 p.m.: The Greenville County Deputy Coroner Jeff Fowler said Roy Weifbenvorn, 29 of Mauldin, was the man killed in the crash this morning. ----------------------- The S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that shut down part of Interstate 385 on Monday Morning. According to troopers, the crash happened around 12:35 p.m. near West Georgia Road on south I-385 and involved two vehicles. The driver of a Ford Ranger pick-up was pronounced dead at the scene. The Greenville County Coroner's Office has not released the name of the driver at this time. The driver of a Ford Expedition was taken by ambulance to Greenville Memorial Hospital to be treated for her injuries, according to troopers. The Highway Patrol's MAIT team …
