Salvation Army Extends Deadline for Christmas Assistance Applications
Families have extra time to apply for assistance.
The Salvation Army has extended its deadline for accepting applications for Christmas assistance.
Each year, The Salvation Army provides toys, clothes and food for Greenville County residents in need of assistance.
Applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 through Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 417 Rutherford St., Greenville.

To make an application for their children ages 13 and under, parents will need to bring a photo identification, proof of income and monthly expenses for their household, birth certificates for each child and a DSS household summary.
