A columnist for the Charlotte Observer reported a recent T-shirt printed for the Carolina Panthers features a blue silhouette of the state of South Carolina, the team's logo inside the silhouette and the letters "NC" in the upper left corner of the silhouette.
Nike has taken down the link to the T-shirt and it's no longer for purchase, the paper reported.
The Carolina Panthers, which started up in 1995, holds training camp each year in Spartanburg, S.C., but games are played in Charlotte, N.C.
