Tiffany Felts of Greer Earns Spot on Bob Jones University Bruins Roster

Tiffany Felts named to the Bob Jones University Bruins women's intercollegiate basketball team

Tiffany Felts of Greer has been named to the Bob Jones University Bruins women's intercollegiate basketball team.

Felts, a freshman majoring in health, fitness and recreation, is a guard for the Bruins women's basketball team.

The team opens their season at home Nov. 1 against Johnson University of Knoxville, Tenn.

"Our biggest challenge will be coming together as a team and learning to compete quicker than we did last year," said Mike LaViere, head coach for the Bruins women's basketball team. "As we begin our second year of intercollegiate competition, we can't use excuses about how building a program takes several years. We need to compete with excellence - and do it now."

The BJU Bruins women's basketball team competes in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division I.
