Taylors Elementary Teachers Holding Food Drive Battle

Two Taylors teachers are encouraging their kids to donate food to Greer Community Ministries.

Two Taylors Elementary School teachers - one a Clemson fan and one a South Carolina fan - are hoping the kids at their school will show the world which fan base is most giving.

Teachers Calvin Auman and Coleman Brown are hoping to rally the kids at Taylors Elementary for the student council food drive, which aims to provide food to Greer Community Ministries.

Brown, an avid Clemson fan, is hoping to receive more donations than Auman, an avid Carolina fan. The teacher who collects the least amount of food will have to wear a t-shirt of the opposing team on Nov. 20. Boxes for collection will be on the cafeteria stage at the school. The food drive will last from Nov. 12 to Nov. 16.
