Greenville Tech offers Guest Lecture on Livability

The library on the Barton Campus of Greenville Technical College will host a guest lecture by Jaclin Durant, livability educator with the City of Greenville.

The lecture, to be held in building 102 on Tuesday, October 22 at 9:30 a.m., will be a chance to learn more about the Greenville habitat, sustainable landscaping, and green building techniques.

Durant will cover the connection with the built, natural and social environment through topics including water conservation, reclaimed materials, infill/urban sprawl, LEED certification, integrated pest management, and sustainable structures.
