Davis Takes The Helm As Interim Principal At Brushy Creek

Brushy Creek Elementary will have a new face leading the school this year.

Among the eight new principals taking the helm in Greenville County this school year will be Charles Davis, who will lead as interim principal at Brushy Creek Elementary School in Taylors. 

Davis will be replacing Dr. DeeDee Washington, who was recently named associate superintendent for academics by the Greenville County School District. 

Davis earned his undergraduate degree from Morris College and his master's degree from Clemson University, as well as leadership supervision certification from Clemson.

He comes to Brushy Creek by way of Woodland Elementary School, where he had been assistant principal. Before that he had been an administrative assistant at Rudolph G. Gordon Elementary, a counselor at Hillcrest High School and a teacher at Lake Forest and Greenview Elementary Schools.
