Two File for Greer Commissioner of Public Works

Filing for Greer's November Municipal Election will remain open through Aug. 15.

Two candidates have filed to run for Greer's Commissioner of Public Works seat.

Incumbent Gene Gibson and Tom Kriese have each filed to appear on the ballot for the November municipal election. The commissioner seat is a six-year term.

Filing for the race will continue through Aug. 15.

Candidates may also file to represent Districts 2, 4 and 6 on Greer City Council. Members of council serve a four-year term.
