Sen. Lee Bright Looking to Challenge Lindsey Graham

Says he's met with donors to discuss possible run.

State Sen. Lee Bright, who represents District 12 in the Upstate, has confirmed his interest in challenging Sen. Lindsey Graham, according to a story Tuesday in The Post and Courier. Bright was re-elected to a second term last month and was endorsed by Gov. Nikki Haley in the primary season.

Graham has been named by the Club for Growth as a top target in the 2014 election cycle, but most observers expected him to be challenged by Sen. Tom Davis from Beaufort County.
