Woman Dies After Car Strikes Tractor Trailer
The tractor trailer was illegally parked according to the Highway Patrol.
A woman was killed Saturday after the car she was riding in ran into the side of a tractor trailer, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the tractor-trailer was illegally parked on Highway 291 at Worley Road.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Troopers said the Toyota Camry was headed north on Highway 291 when for unknown reasons the vehicle went left of center and passenger side of the car crashed into the tractor trailer.

The female passenger died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
