Two witnesses took the stand Tuesday in the murder trial of a 23-year-old Taylors man accused of shooting a fast food restaurant employee to death in 2007, GreenvilleOnline.com reports.

Ricky and Rashad Simmons took the stand Tuesday in the trial of Korey Love, who was only 17 when he and his step-brother, Eric Ransom, allegedly shot Marvelin "Isaac" Bass on the sidewalk near Wendy's on North Pleasantburg Drive, where Bass worked.

Rashad testified that he had heard Love speak before of robbing the restaurant, and both said they heard shots the night of the murder, further adding that they saw Love a short time later acting erratic and out of breath.
