Two Travelers Rest Men Arrested for Making Methamphetamine

This was one of two meth labs busted in northern Greenville County on Wednesday, deputies said

Two men are charged with manufacturing methamphetamines after deputies came to the residence looking for a possible meth lab.

Greenville County Sheriff's deputies were called to 3 Design Lane on Wednesday afternoon. Upon their arrival they met Christopher J. Lindsey and Robert A. Conard.

During the course of the investigation, deputies were able to determine that the two men were in possession of chemicals and other items both known to be used for manufacturing methamphetamine.

Both men were transported to the Greenville County Detention Center where they have been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and are being held on a $20,000 cash or surety bond.

This was the second lab to be busted in Greenville County on Wednesday.

Deputies responded to 106 Turner Barton Road in Landrum after receiving a call from the Department of Social Servies about a child who was possibly living in a home where a meth lab was operating.

When deputies arrived, they found a six-month-old child the home, along with the three people that were arrested. The child was checked out by EMS on the scene and turned over to a family member.

Kathleen Gerich, Ricci Allen Jr. and Brook Blue have all been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

The child's parents, Allen and Blue, were also charged with unlawfully manufacturing methamphetamine in the presence of a child and unlawful neglect of a child.

Gerich is currently in jail on a $20,000 bond, while Blue and Allen are currently being held on a $45,000 bond.
