Troopers Investigating Fatal Crash on Edwards Road
One person was killed and a second was injured in a wreck at the intersection of Lee Road.
Troopers said one man is dead and a woman injured after a two-vehicle collision on Edwards Road.
The crash happened around 4:40 a.m. Saturday at the intersection Edwards Road at Lee Road. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the driver of a rollback had stopped at the intersection when the driver of Honda struck the right rear of the vehicle and then sideswiped a tree.
The male driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Troopers said a female passenger of the Honda was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital for her injuries. Her condition is not known at this time.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
