Troopers Investigating Fatal Crash in Travelers Rest
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an early morning crash on Highway 25 north in Travelers Rest that killed one person.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an early morning crash in northern Greenville County that left one man dead.
The Highway Patrol said the wreck happened about 3:50 a.m. on Highway 25 north of Travelers Rest.
According to troopers, the driver was heading north when he drove off the right side of the road, hit a culvert and overturned.

According to WYFF, the Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the driver as Joseph Staton, 33. Staton was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, according to troopers. He was not wearing a seat belt.
