Shooting Reported At Greenville Apartment Complex

Victim taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital on Sunday night. 

At 8:13 p.m. Sunday, the GCSO received a 911 call regarding a possible gunshot victim at Boulder Creek Apartments at 300 Furman Hall Road.

Deputies arrived on scene within minutes of the call, and were directed to an apartment where they found a man in the apartment who had in fact been shot.

The victim was conscious and alert, and told deputies he was inside the apartment when someone knocked on the door. The victim opened the door and the person began shooting at him. The victim was unable to provide deputies with a description of the person who shot him.  

A White Ford Crown Victoria with dark tinted windows was seen leaving the apartment complex just after the shooting occurred.

As the vehicle was leaving the apartment complex a passenger in the vehicle fired shots into the air.

The victim was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital with non-life- threatening injuries.
