Sheriff's Office Investigating Shooting Death
Unidentified man was shot at a Berea-area club.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred at 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the club Red Planet, at 1310 Cedar Lane Road.
Deputies responded to the Red Planet and located a black male with a gunshot injury. He has yet to be identified by the Sheriff's Office, according to Master Deputy Jennings Autrey.
The victim was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he later died. This case remains under investigation with no suspects identified at this time. The cause of death is undetermined at this time and is pending the results of the autopsy.
