Sheriff's Office Busts Wade Hampton Meth Lab

Two people in the Wade Hampton area of Greenville were arrested Tuesday for allegedly making methamphetamine.

A man and a woman were still behind bars Wednesday afternoon after being arrested the day before on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine. 

After receiving a tip that someone was operating a meth lab at 102 Windemere Drive in the Wade Hampton area of Greenville, deputies and members of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office's meth lab investigations team arrived and confirmed the presence of a lab inside the home. 

Wade Hampton Fire Department and Greenville County EMS were both sent to the scene.

Joseph Pfieffer Jr. 27, and Ann Morgan Barry, 18 were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, and also charged with manufacturing methamphetamine in the presence of a child. 

Pfieffer and Morgan both remain at Greenville County Detention Center on $25,000 cash bond each. The children located at the residence were properly decontaminated and then sent to Greenville Memorial Hospital for evaluation, according to an official statement from the GCSO.
