Highway Patrol Investigating Car Vs. Pedestrian Accident
Ielsin Fuentes died after being struck by a car in Greer.
The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a collision that killed a 20-year-old on Sunday.
At roughly 2 a.m. Sunday, Ielsin Fuentes was walking on Center Street in the Greer area when he was hit by a car, Teri Carter, investigator with the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office, said.
Fuentes was pronounced dead at 7:40 a.m. Postmortem testing and toxicology analysis tests are pending.
