Investigators with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are on the scene of a deadly accident in Greer that has shut down a stretch of Highway 101 near the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, FoxCarolina.com reports.
Lance Cpl. Bill Rhyne confirmed one person had been killed and another injured in a two-car collision that occurred between a truck and a Jeep that left at least one of the vehicles in flames.
One person, who has yet to be identified, was killed, and another was taken to the hospital via helicopter.
