Greer Teen Charged A Year After Deadly Crash

Daniel Woosley has been charged with felony driving under the influence involving death and reckless homicide.

A Greer teenager has been charged in a crash that killed a man near Greer in July 2012.

Daniel Brian Woosley, 18, of 217 E. Howell St., was arrested Thursday and charged with felony driving under the influence involving death and reckless homicide, according to the Spartanburg Herald-Journal.

Daniel Edward Nelson, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at Highway 101 near Taylor Road.

Woosley is being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
