Fire Department Roof Collapses

River Falls Fire Department building was condemned more than a month ago.

A Greenville County fire department's roof collapsed Saturday roughly a month after the building was condemned, WYFF4 is reporting

The building that used to house the River Falls Fire Department in Marietta was condemned six weeks ago, and the station's assistant chief told WYFF 4 that the building's roof collapsed Saturday.

When the building was condemned, officials said the station found other homes for their equipment and trucks. Fire officials say they are trying to determine how much it will cost and how they will pay for a new building.
