Deputies: Parents, Son, 15 Teens Charged in Underage Drinking Bust

Greenville County Sheriff's deputies held an enforcement blitz Saturday that targeted proms and after prom parties.

Greenville County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Greenville couple, their 18-year-old son and issued citations to 15 teenagers Saturday at an after-prom party at the family's home where minors were drinking.

Brian McSharry, 46, and Kelly McSharry, 47, both face contributing to the delinquency of a minor charges.

The couple's son, Patrick McSharry, 18, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies also cited 12 teens, ages 17-19, with minor in possession of alcohol and three teens, age 16, with minor in possession of alcohol.

Greenville deputies went to the McSharrys home on Altamont Road, after receiving a complaint. Deputies said they found alcohol and marijuana.
