Cops on Top of Krispy Kreme to Raise Money for Special Olympics
Greenville Police, Greenville County Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are partnering to raise money for Special Olympics.
If you drive past Krispy Kreme, you'll see several cops sitting on top.
They aren't there for a snack, they are there to raise money.
Beginning at 5 a.m. Friday, law enforcement officers from throughout Greenville County will begin sitting on top of the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Shop located at 302 N. Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville. They will leave their perch around 9 p.m. Saturday.

The annual "Cops on Top of a Doughnut Shop" event held by the Greenville Police Department, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol, raises money for the South Carolina Special Olympics.
The Special Olympics provides sports training and athletic competition for more than 17,500 children and aduits with intellectual disabilities in South Carolina.
