On Feb. 10, Javon Mack, along with Michael Lee allegedly fired at a 21-year-old male on Alameda Street in Greenville. The victim survived, but both Mack and Lee got away.

Not quite two weeks later, on  Feb. 21 The U. S. Marshal's task force located a vehicle in the Augusta Street area of Greenville. Lee and Mack were both in the vehicle, and when the car was stopped, the two both reportedly tried to run away. Lee was apprehended.

The Greenville Police Department, Greenville County Sheriff's Office, and South Carolina Highway Patrol assisted The U. S. Marshal's task force in organizing a search for the rest of the suspects, which included Mack.

On Thursday, the Greenville PD received a tip that Mack was in Columbia along with Marquis Blassingame. Marquis Blassingame was one of the occupants in the vehicle that took off running from police in February, according to the GPD.

Mack and Blassingame were both arrested late Thursday.

Some of Mack's charges include, but are not limited to multiple counts of attempted murder, discharging into a dwelling, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is also facing numerous charges with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.
