ATF K-9 Killed During Greenville County Operation

Police dog killed in the line of duty.

A police dog being used during an operation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives was killed Tuesday in the line of duty, FoxCarolina reports. 

The operation, executed in Berea, resulted in a shootout that killed Nash, a 7-year-old Belgian Malinois. 

Four men were arrested on drug trafficking and conspiracy charges after the operation. Further details of the case could not be released Wednesday.
