Arrest Made in Eastside High Fires
28-year-old man suspected of setting a string of fires near Eastside High School dating back to August.
A Taylors man has been arrested by Greenville County Sheriff's Office in a string of arsons.
Dan Chesney, 28, was arrested Monday night on six counts of arson/willfully burning lands of another for allegedly setting six fires adjacent to Eastside High School. Chesney was released from the Greenville County Detention Center on $30,000 bond.
According to the arrest warrant, investigators obtained "photographic evidence" that implicated Chesney in the that began in August.
