At roughly 1:30 p.m. Thursday, the Wade Hampton Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident directly in front of its station at 4211 East North St.
The collision occurred when a white truck driving north on East North Street collided with a four-door car near the entrance of a nearby apartment complex.
One male was seen being taken to the hospital by EMS. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, and has not yet provided further details on the crash.
