Ruth Elizabeth Belcher Burnette, 82, died September 23, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Willis and Cora Hammett Belcher, she was retired from Lyman Printing and Finishing after 22 years and a member of Zoar United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Troy J. Burnette of the home; one daughter, Denise B. Lee of Greer; three brothers, Furman Belcher of Campobello, Leroy Belcher of Chesnee and Boyd Belcher of Campobello and three sisters, Pauline High of Spartanburg, Frances Batson of Duncan and Juanita Johns of Inman.
Mrs. Burnette was predeceased by one brother Lloyd Belcher and one sister, Lucille Green.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Robert Cox, Pastor and Rev. Don Hope. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Honorary escort will be the Adult Sunday School class.
Visitation will be held 2:45-3:45 p.m. Thursday at Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
