Obit: Oran M. Howard of Greer
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mark Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic rites.

Oran Monroe Howard, 88, of 379 Mount Lebanon Church Road, widow of Catherine Mason Howard, died September 8, 2013 at his home.
A native of Greenville County, son of the late Columbus Few "Lum"and Bell Babb Howard, he was a retired owner of Howards Beauty and Barber Shop for 40 years and Lyman Printing and Finishing. Mr. Howard was a U.S. Army Veteran from 1948-1949 and a member of National Guard for four years, a life member of Bailey Masonic Lodge #146 and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Janice Justice (Kenneth) of Greer and Judy Hammett (Donnie) of Greer; one son, Keith Howard (Joy) of Greer; two half-sisters, Mable Workman (Gene) of Thomas, Ga; Shirley Praytor (Charles) of Startex; five grandchildren, Jason Justice, Trey Justice, D.J. Hammett, Darren Hammett and Bristol Howard and four great-grandchildren, Taylor Justice, Tyler Justice, Ayla Justice and Abby Deyoung.
Mr. Howard was predeceased by four brothers, Louie Babb, Stewart Howard, Ethel "E.C" Howard and Harold Howard, one sister, Lorene Atkins and half-brother, Tommy Howard.

Honorary escort will be the Everready Sunday School Class and Bailey Masonic Lodge.
Pallbearers will be Keith Howard, Jason Justice, Trey Justice, D.J. Hammett, Darren Hammett and Robert McElyea.
Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Wood Mortuary.
