Memorial Services Planned for Greer Man Killed in Plane Crash

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenville Jet Center, 1 Aviation Lane, Greenville, SC.

A memorial service has been planned for a Greer man killed Monday evening when the plane he was piloting

Anthony Richard Cabeza, 58, of 726 Dutchman Court, Greer, will be remembered during a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenville Jet Center, 1 Aviation Lane, Greenville. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at the jet center. Read his full obituary.

Cabeza and 71-year-old Julius Gilreath of Greenville were flying to Greenville Downtown Airport, when the plane, a Piper PA-32, crashed about one mile northeast of Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Ga.
