Where Is The Center Of Taylors?

A group is meeting Wednesday to give residents and business owners a chance to talk about where they think Taylors' true center is.

A group is holding a town square meeting to try to answer the question: Where exactly is the center of Taylors, according to The Greenville News.

Taylors, the unincorporated and mainly middle class area between Greer and Greenville, has plenty of potential spots that could be considered centers of the community.

The Taylors Town Square meeting, held today at noon at the former post office across from Taylors First Baptist on Main Street, will seek input from business owners, residents and members of the church as to where the community's center is.

“Before we can begin to address what we want to happen in Taylors, we’ve got to come to a consensus on where is the center of Taylors and where is Taylors just in general,” said Alex Reynolds, leader of the group.
