Fall Flag Football/Cheerleading registration runs September 3 - September 30.  Ages 6-14.  

Enrichment Doesn't End When The Bell Rings:  YMCA enrichment programs add arts, academic and fitness opportunities to children's daily lives.  And is convenient for  busy parents.  Choose from Karate (register at carolinakarate.net), Dance, Tennis (register at www.greenvillerec.com), and Art. 

September offers two new classes:  

• Pilates Prop Trials:  Here is your chance to try an advanced Pilates workout that uses simple tools to help you achieve a greater level of core strength.  The trial classes are free and limited to 12 participants.  Sign up with Juli Ennis on facebook.  Classes are scheduled for Thursday, September 6 and 13 at 5pm, Saturday 8 and 15 at 9:30am.
• Beast Mode:  Are you ready to be in the best shape of your life?  Join Jeremy and Rodney Wed at 6AM and Tues at 6PM.  This is a field day for grown-ups.  Work as a team and have fun.  Multilevel so you can go at your own pace.  10 visits gets you a Beast Mode t-shirt.

Children Thrive at Y Afterschool - Enrich your child's life.  Eastside Y After School program allows your child homework time, physical activity, devotion time, healthy snacks, swimming throughout the week, and much more.  We are open on most holidays and teacher work days.  We pick up from the following area elementary and middle schools:  Chandler Creek, Brushy Creek, Woodland, Buena Vista, Lake Forest, Mitchell Rd., Pelham Rd., Brook Glen, Paris, Taylors, Crestview, Mountain View, Northwood, Riverside, Greer, and Sevier.  

Congratulations to the "Trek Around the US" Summer Fitness Challenege Winners:  Rick Traynham, Tara Calder and Carol Watts.  
This was a challenge of 2800 minutes of cardio with 4 full body strength training segments as well.
