Hiring at TD Bank is expected to accelerate next month as it prepares to open its new call center in Greenville, the Associated Press reported Monday.
The call center, expected to open with some 70 employees, is part of a massive expansion announced late last year.
In November, TD Bank officials and Gov. Nikki Haley of operations for the bank, with some 1,600 new jobs coming to the state of South Carolina, and 1,400 coming to Greenville.
The expansion also included a $17 renovation of its Greenville headquarters.
