Greenville Cash Mob!

Join us for a cash mob on Wednesday, June 6th in Downtown Greenville! Everyone is welcome!  (Bonus: Our sponsor, Smallknot, will buy the first round of drinks for everyone who comes out!)

What's a cash mob? A cash mob is a fantastic way to support local, independently owned businesses and meet great people in your community. It's like a flash mob, except instead of singing and dancing, everyone mobs a locally-owned business and spends a set amount of money. If you love the mom and pop shops that make Greenville special, here's a great way to show your support, vote with your dollars and build a better community. Here's how it works:

1) Come to Falls Park (by the stairs next to Spill the Beans) at 6:15 pm on Wednesday, June 6th with $15. Look for the folks in grey Smallknot shirts or a crowd of people holding signs.

2) From there, we will all walk together to a mystery local merchant to spend $15 in support of a great locally-owned spot. (This is the mob part.) We'll tweet the location of the mystery merchant at that time from @smallknot or @sydneywilliams. We'll also update the Facebook page.

3) Afterwards, we will all head to another local establishment for drinks, a milkshake or a bite to mingle, meet new people and just have some good ol' fashioned mid-week fun! First round is on Smallknot, a local crowdfunding platform to support local businesses.
