Here's the latest news from the : 

Children Thrive at Y Afterschool - Enrich your child's life.  Eastside Y After school program allows your child homework time, physical activity, devotion time, healthy snacks, swimming throughout the week, and much more.  We are open on most holidays and teach work days.  We pick up from the following area elementary and middle schools:  Chandler Creek, Brushy Creek, Woodland, Buena Vista, Lake Forest, Mitchell Rd., Pelham Rd., Brook Glen, Paris, Taylors, Crestview, Mountain View, Northwood, Riverside, Greer, and Sevier.  Note - we must have at least 3 individuals registered at the school to pick up. 

Walk2Run:  10 week program designed to train participants to run.  Group starts with 30 seconds of running, adding time each week to achieve a goal of running the Run4Fun 5K by end of the course.

  • Tuesdays at 9:00AM and Thursdays at 5:00PM 
  • Begins week of August 28 
  • Cost:  Free for members/ $50.00 non members

Dads, are you looking for fun and exciting activities to do with your children?  Adventure Guides provides opportunities to develop strong relationships between you and your children. Aactivities include campouts at Y Camp Greenville, family cookouts, and a father-daughter Valentine’s Day dance.  For details, click here.

Family Camp at Camp Greenville:

Finding opportunities to spend time with the family can be hard, especially during the school year. Before summer is over, visit Y Camp Greenville for Family Camp. There are weeklong and weekend Family Camps.  Get away from all the distractions of daily life and go hiking, canoeing, or visit Pretty Place with your family.  For details, click here.  

Teen Achievers:

After two years of success, the YMCA of Greenville Teen Achievers program is expanding to six locations in Greenville County. Professionals from the community guide and mentor teens as they make decisions regarding college and career plans.  For more details on the program or volunteering, click here.

Coming in September! YMCA CAMP GREENVILLE, High Atop The Blue Ridge, Celebrating 100 Years of Residential Camping, 1912-2012 -- a book that captures the essence of the Camp Greenville experience.
