What is Project Staples? 

Taylors Patch found out this week by catching up with The Academy of the Arts in Taylors. 

The Academy of the Arts, which sits behind the Presbyterian Theological Seminary, is a Christian theater operation that puts on several dramatic presentations each year.

The above video was recently released to raise attention to its upcoming major project. 

"We named it 'Project Staples' because we wanted to create some curiosity in it," said Deborah Reimer, secretary at the academy.

Staples, as it turns out, is the middle name of C.S. Lewis (Clive STAPLES Lewis), and Project Staples will be The Academy of the Arts' rendition of the famous play "The Lion, The Witch, The Wardrobe." 

The play will be a huge undertaking, and will take months to prepare for. The play will be presented at the academy's Logos Theatre next Spring.
