MonsterCon 2013 Held at Furman
First convention held in Greenville over the weekend.
MonsterCon was held for the first time in Greenville.
The convention, held at Furman's Timmons Arena, started Friday and continued through Sunday evening.
MonsterCon organizers describe it as a multi-fandom convention that will feature celebrity guests, concerts and live entertainment, a weekend-long film festival, gaming tournaments, vendors selling various comics, toys, movie memorabilia, T-shirts and other merchandise, costume contests, prize giveaways for the whole family and late night parties for adults.
