Greer State Bank Greer Station Oktoberfest slated for Oct. 5

Greer State Bank is serving as the top sponsor for the upcoming Greer State Bank Greer Station Oktoberfest.  The event is one of the most popular festivals in downtown Greer scheduled for Saturday, October 5.  The festival features German oompah bands, a variety of German foods, a range of German beer and wine, along with local artists who will be displaying their creative pieces all day in downtown Greer.  Hours for the event are 12 noon to 10PM and admission is free.

“Greer State Bank is excited to be part of this important Greater Greer Chamber activity,” states Vic Grout, Chief Banking Officer for Greer State Bank.  “Our goal is to be a vital part of the community, and it is our honor to be associated with this year’s Oktoberfest.  We look forward to joining everyone in this celebration.”

The downtown festival is a unique one-of-a-kind event in the Upstate.  A celebration of German tradition, Oktoberfest brings thousands of visitors to the Greater Greer area.  This year marks the return of Greer State Bank as the event’s top-sponsor after having served in that role in past festivals.
