Plans Underway for Greer Oktoberfest

Grab your lederhosen and start making plans to attend the most popular downtown event in Greer.

The 2013 Greer State Bank Greer Station Oktoberfest will be held from noon to 10 p.m. Oct. 5.

The festival will feature German oompah bands, a variety of German foods and German beer and wine. Warsteiner will be the official beer of the festival for the second year.

Admission is free to the festival, but there is a charge for food and drinks.

Oktoberfest brings thousands of visitors to the Greater Greer area each year, according to the Greer Chamber of Commerce.
