Palladian View, a digital magazine for conservative women, published by former SCGOP Chairman Karen Floyd announced that an event centered on women policy makers and opinion shapers will be held in Tampa on the eve of the RNC.
Her New View, an initiative of Palladian View, will host “Lashing Back at the Backlash: How Conservative Women Confront Media Bias” in Tampa, August 26 at 5:00 at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts’s TECO theatre.
Floyd will moderate the panel, which will feature prominent journalists Katie Pavlich and Dana Loesch, Congresswomen Blackburn and Ellmers, and the Lt. Governor of Wisconsin Rebecca Kleefisch.
"I hope this event will draw attention to the critical importance of women and youth in this election cycle and those to come. Elevating women in the political arena is the mission of our organization as this magnifies all female voices and values in the everyday discourse,” said Floyd.
Fighting for women voters often cited by pundits as an uphill battle for Republicans. With women lacking in the political arena yet turning up at the polls, a paradox has developed in the realm of women working in politics. Her New View will empower conservative young women by building a high profile mentoring effort and organizing a coalition to support current and future elected conservative women.
This panel event is open to the public, and those who want to attend can reserve their seat online; sponsorships are also available, please contact the appropriate party for more information. Palladian View can be reached at (864) 596-7501.
