Wellford Man Arrested For Injuring Baby
James Davis Jr. arrested after shaking his daughter violently.
Spartanburg County deputies arrested a 28-year-old Wellford man Friday after he admitted to shaking his infant daughter and causing life-threatening brain damage, FoxCarolina.com reports.
Deputies arrived at James Davis Jr.'s home in Wellford at roughly 7 p.m., when he said his baby girl was struggling to breathe.
The girl was unresponsive when paramedics arrived and was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital. During the investigation, David admitted to violently shaking the child.
Davis is charged with child abuse causing great bodily injury. He is still in jail, with no bond.

@candy nicole-Why are you concered about the mom? A baby almost died because her father SHOOK HER. Mom could have been at work or buying groceries... anything. Dad was watching his daughter and lost his temper with an innocent child who then needed brain surgery. Its ignorant people like you who make me want to scream!

Yes it's all on her prayers for Cheyenne Rae page go read it since your so quick to judge the mom. It was the fathers weekend to have her and she was in perfect health when she let him have her and just moments later gets a call her baby can't breathe and is being air lifted to the hospital and is in need of brain surgery. That sorry SOB I hope gets life in prison for what he has done to this child.
