Southern Living Contest: Clemson Has Best Tailgates
A prominent southern lifestyle magazine asked its readers to vote for which southern school had the best tailgates, and Clemson fans responded in a big way.
Clemson's tailgating scene is second to none in the South, according to a contest put on by Southern Living Magazine.
Beginning in September, Southern Living announced a sweepstakes asking its readers to vote on which schools in the South had the best tailgates.

"You voted and the results are in: Clemson University is the winner of our first annual The South’s Best Tailgate competition! From August 15 to October 1, more than 510,000 votes were cast with Alabama clinching 3rd place and Ole Miss taking 2nd place. But there can only be one winner, and in 2012 the ultimate bragging rights belong to Clemson."
