The Upstate Young Republicans will host a forum for candidates on Thursday. 

The forum, which will begin at at 6:30 p.m. at Celebrity's Hot Dogs on Hunts Bridge Road in Berea, is for candidates who have filed to represent Senate District 6, which includes Berea, Travelers Rest, Wade Hampton and Eastside area of Greenville County. 

Chris Sullivan and Sen. Mike Fair have confirmed they will attend, Upstate Young Republicans Chair Erica Christian said. It is possible Tommie Reece, a Furman University employee and current Greenville County School District board member, may attend, though she has not definitively confirmed her attendance. 

The public is invited to attend. Patch will be on hand to cover the event.
