FEMA will be conducting a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System at 2 p.m. Nov. 9.
The Emergency Alert System is normally tested on a monthly basis with participating stations, however Wednesday's test will be the first time that the system is tested nationwide on all broadcast channels. This test is scheduled to last for 30 seconds plus additional time for tones which will make the test approximately one minute total. During this time residents should not become concerned.
Learn more about the test on FEMA's website.

Harry, Really? This somehow is President Obama taking over the airways? We are making certain that our emergency broadcast system works country-wide to help us all in the event of a catastrophe and you think this is President Obama getting face time? You do realize he won't be involved, right? There won't be anyone's face.
