UPDATED AT 6 P.M.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 48-year old Gregory Eugene McCarson in connection with house fire reported early Monday morning at 110 Trammell Road in Slater-Marietta, and for the murder of the person found dead at that location.
The death investigation has officially been ruled a homicide as a result of the autopsy performed this afternoon.
